I did this in Metroid Fusion, and found an address somewhere above Missile Quantity that, when set to somewhere around 18, unlocked every upgrade in the game. It probably won't work on every game, but it did on Summon Night Swordcraft Story 2, and Final Fantasy V Advance, the items were 8 bit values, if you want to try it, but changing the address in FFV Advance only affected items already in the Inventory, so you couldn't get anything you don't already have, but you could get 99 of the unique items such as Excalibur, or the Brave Blade once you acquire it. In addition, item ID's are all closely related so you need only change an Address by 1 or 2 to affect the next item in the game or the inventory.

I'm not allowed to attach CHT files so I'll just paste the contents of the file here:ĩ6EF4A62 4742 C51134A 450 AFE 482D848 04A2ĩ6EF4A62 4742 C51134A 450 AFE 482D848 04A2"Īs you can see it's the same code 10 times, but with different spacing and line breaks, and the second set is gameshark_v2, rather than v3, also the quotation marks are there because I used gpSP Cheat Creator.exe to make it, I also made one using only notepad, to the effect that the quotation marks weren't there, but to no avail.Īn interesting, if unrelated, side note to this is that the cheat searcher in CWCheat version 0.2.3 works for GBA games in gpSP as well, so Item quantities in RPGs like Final Fantasy can probably be searched, in 8, 16, or on occasion, even 32 bit, depending on the Item's current and maximum quantities. It's probably worth noting that I haven't tried AR codes yet. I also used an "All Items" code on Summon Night Swordcraft Story 2 and it failed to work, although it had no problem appearing in the list either. Summon Night: Swordcraft Story is an RPG set in the strange world of Lyndbaum, a sacred land linked to four magical dimensions from which Summoners can call forth spirits called Guardian Beasts to. My question today is this: Has anyone gotten the cheats on any game to work yet? If so, then what am I doing wrong? It seems most likely that the code just doesn't work. In it, I used 10 different iterations of the same cheat.ĩ of the 10 appeared in the menu, so I have no problem getting them to appear, the problem is getting them to work. I built a CHT file for Final Fantasy V Advance.

Fighting monsters, going to strange and exotic places and meeting all sort of creatures, humans and spirits, the quest starts shaping the character to maturity and courage.Unofficial gpSP Kai Ver. As the new swordcrafter and his/her Summon Beast goes on their adventure, they start to learn more about the ruins, the monster inside, and most important, his/her father's past, along with a mysterious power infused in his/her body and soul. In order to protect their new family, Edgar/Aera is bound to a wild Summon Beast (stray summon) and embarks on a journey to reseal the ruins. The player character, either Edgar Colthearts or Aera Colthearts, who are Edge Fencers, find themselves at the site of an abandoned ruin, where a violent Summon Beast named Goura is awakened.

The character aspires to be a Craftknight as well. In Summon Night: Swordcraft 2, the player is an orphan from the Colthearts clan raised by a Craftknight (a smith/warrior).
